Workshop on Monte Carlo Simulation Using GATE

Prof. Olatunde Michael Oni is a seasoned Radiation and Health Physicist with over two decades of experience in academia and research, specializing in medical physics, particularly radiation therapy and radiological health. He is skilled in Monte Carlo simulations using the GATE toolkit, applying these techniques to simulate dose profiles for LINAC machines in External Beam Radiotherapy, HDR and LDR brachytherapy sources, and PET/SPECT scanners for diagnostic imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy planning. With a strong record of training postgraduate students and numerous scientific publications, Prof. Oni is a leading expert in Monte Carlo simulations for biophysical processes.
